Dr West studied medicine at Trinity Hall, Cambridge and the London Hospital Medical College. He completed GP training in Banbury, Oxfordshire in 2002. He was a partner in West Malling for 15 years, before joining Len Valley Practice in October 2020.
Dr West has an interest in education, having been a GP Trainer, Programme Director for Maidstone GP Training Scheme, and Senior Lecturer at Kent and Medway Medical School.
