Improved Access Opening Times

As part of the Improved Access initiative introduced nationally in October 2018, patients can now see a GP or other healthcare professional outside of normal surgery hours.

At our practice, we are pleased to offer the following extended access appointments:

Saturday Appointments – The Vine Medical Centre

Appointments are available every Saturday between 8.00am and 12.00pm at
The Vine Medical Centre, Tonbridge.

Monday Evening Appointments – Len Valley Medical Practice

We offer additional appointments every Monday evening from 6.30pm to 8.00pm at
Len Valley Medical Practice, Lenham.

These appointments may not be with your usual GP but will be with a qualified clinical professional (e.g. GP, nurse, or other healthcare staff). They are part of a wider effort to improve access to care across West Kent.

How to Book These Appointments

To book an extended hours appointment:

• Call your registered surgery during normal opening hours

• Ask specifically about appointments at The Vine on Saturdays or Len Valley on Monday evenings

• Reception staff will offer these to you if there is availability 

• You are welcome to ask about them even if they are not initially offered

Please note: You cannot book these appointments by calling during the extended hours (evenings/weekends). Always contact reception during the usual daytime hours to arrange an appointment.
