Aguida De Souza
Aggie qualified as a Registered Nurse at King's College London, in 2013, where she gained knowledge and experience in a variety of settings, such as dermatology, urology, surgical theatres, cancer and elderly care.
After this Aggie spent time working in the Urology department at Guys hospital, then went to community work in a Wound Care Centre and also worked in a Care Centre, where she dealt with patients suffering from various aspects mental illnesses, such as dementia, depression and eating disorders.
Aggie then was advised by a doctor colleague to try Practice Nursing, which he facilitated in his surgery. She fell in love with Practice Nursing and has been in this field ever since.
Aggie has gained, apart from normal PN duties such as cervical cytology, immunisations, wound care and respiratory knowledge.
She has come to Len Valley to work towards a Masters qualification as an Advanced Care Practitioner, which she will start in September.
Aggie's main hobbies are cooking, travelling and long countryside walks, when she has free time from looking after her son!
