Flu and COVID Vaccinations Available from 1st October
From 1st October 2025, Len Valley Practice will be offering flu and COVID vaccinations to all eligible patients.
We will be sending text invitations to everyone who is eligible, but if you know you qualify, please don’t wait call our reception team or come into the surgery to book your appointment.
Who is eligible?
You are eligible if you are:

Aged 65 or over (including those turning 65 by 31 March 2026)

Aged 6 months to 64 years with certain health conditions, such as:
-
Chronic respiratory disease (e.g. COPD, asthma requiring steroid treatment)
-
Chronic heart disease (e.g. heart failure, congenital heart disease)
-
Chronic kidney disease (stage 3–5, or on dialysis)
-
Chronic liver disease (e.g. cirrhosis, hepatitis)
-
Chronic neurological conditions (e.g. Parkinson’s, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy)
-
Diabetes
-
Immunosuppression (due to disease or treatment, including cancer treatment, organ transplant, or long-term steroid use)
-
Problems with the spleen (e.g. sickle cell disease, or if your spleen has been removed)
-
Severe obesity (BMI of 40 or above)
-

Pregnant women
-
Carers and those in close contact with immunocompromised individuals
How to book

Text invitations will be sent out automatically if you are eligible.

If you know you are eligible, you can also book directly by calling our reception team or visiting the surgery.
Protect yourself and those around you this winter please book your vaccination as soon as you are able.
