Health Visitor
- Anne Stocks
Anne is a qualified Nurse with midwifery experience. She is available daily in the Harrietsham surgery between 9:00am - 10:00am (except Thursdays) and between 16:00pm - 17:00pm (except Wednesdays); please telephone 01622 859827. She holds regular child health clinics in one of the surgeries on Tuesday afternoons. She also participates in Paediatric surveillance. Although most of her work is within the 0-5 years age group, she is also available to offer support and counselling to all age groups, including the elderly.

Referrals to the District Nurse are made by the GP or the Hospital. As well as direct nursing care the District Nurse will advise and assist carers looking after ill relatives or friends. She will also refer to other agencies of care such as; The MacMillan Nursing services, Social services, Night Shared Care, Help the Aged, Home equipment loan point and the occupational therapist.
Midwife

Julia is available for all antenatal care and also the postnatal care for up to 2 weeks after delivery. She holds weekly surgeries alternatively at both Lenham and Harrietsham. Julia can be contacted by phoning 01622 729000 ext 431 from 08:30 to 16:30 daily. A 24 hour emergency line to a midwife is also available through the Maidstone Hospital ? phone 01622 729000 and ask to speak to the staff on ?Peale? antenatal Ward.
Antenatal classes are available day or evening at the hospital via a booking system arranged via Julia. We like to offer an extensive Obstetric programme including home birth option and early discharge from hospital.
FOOTCARE
- Emma Smith
Emma is able to help with those over 65 year patients who are unable to look after the every day care of their feet for whatever reason. Please contact reception for more details.
We also have a visiting podiatrist available to deal with all foot related problems specific to our patients with diabetes. Again, please contact receptions for further information.
