Dispensary Manager
Sandra
Paterson
Sandra is responsible for
the running of the dispensary
and oversees all prescription
queries and orders.
Practice co-ordinator

Amanda
Amanda's coordinating role
allows the practise to run
smoothly whilst the Practice
Manager is away. She has
increased her time in the
surgery and assists with the day
to day running of all aspects of
the surgery as well as working
on developments from the new
contract with the Practice
Manager.
Practice administrator

Margaret
Margaret works in this new role
to allow us to use her
multidisciplinary skills that
she has gained throughout her
time at Len Valley Surgery.
She helps to allow the smooth
running of the surgery during
other staff's leave as well as
other administrative duties.

DispenserS

The dispensers work
mainly in dispensary however you may
see them behind reception as well.
They are responsible for
administrating repeat prescriptions
and dispensing for our patients.
They also arrange the drugs for the
NOMADS scheme, which allows us to
dispense for the local care homes. |

The receptionists are
the ladies that you speak to
if you wish to book an
appointments over the phone
or come into the surgery, or
if you have any general
enquiry. The
receptionists endeavour to
do their best for you and at
times will be dealing with
numerous tasks at the same
time. They do various
other duties from liaising
with doctors, (well, chasing
really!) booking house
calls, giving out results,
as well as sending various
letters to patients with
regard to results.
Linda also deals with all
aspects of medical and
insurance reports and
Lindsey's other role is
coordinating the staff rota
on a monthly basis. |

Claire is responsible for data entry and
general administration of the
computer system.
Administration and new patient
responsibility

Susan
Sue is responsible for sorting out
the new patient notes that come into
the surgery and general
administration.
Financial Assistant

Alison assists the Practice Manager
in maintaining the surgery accounts.
